Twelve Days of No Fucks Given
as of 12/19/16...
I’ve done a lot of work over the past several years to become the person I want to be and live the life I want to live. I realized a few months ago that I have been in a perpetual state of anxiety. This has resulted in a myriad of physical conditions that are preventing me from living well. In all the ways.
After serious reflection, I have to admit that there are some beliefs still holding me back. I don’t actually believe these things but they were ingrained years ago. Reinforced by the mindfuckery. It’s all around us. Maybe you have some too?
The funny thing is I just watched a portion of Oprah’s farewell interview with the beautifully wise Michelle Obama. FLOTUS talked about living out loud. That resonated. Then I decided to let Chill with Bob Ross (on Netflix) be my white noise for the day. On one of my breaks I heard him say something like, “Just do whatever you want to do the way you want to do it.” And of course he said, “We don’t make mistakes. We have happy accidents.”
Considering the messages, I say FUCK THAT to all the things that hold me back. Pin me down. Dilute the awesomeness. Because, whether anyone likes it or not, those two words got me to where I am. Those two words are going to get me to where I’m going. I have no fucks to give about who that bothers. That’s my frequency. It’s where I’m healthy. It’s where people get the best of me. That’s where the good shit happens. I encourage you to find yours.
The #12Days Challenge is simply a way for me to let go of some bullshit in a way I can’t hide. There are a gazillion ways I could do it. This is the one I choose. And to keep things light + tight...
